140) I love this mitzvah project. Many days my family discusses what happened during the day and the interesting mitzvahs that occurred. Today, my son proudly announced he had done a mitzvah yesterday. I wanted to be sure to record it.
At synagogue, we met up with Solomon’s best friend’s dad. His friend had stayed up late the night before celebrating Passover and was still sleeping over. His dad needed to go pick up the boy nearby. Since it is a custom on Passover as on other Jewish holidays to walk rather than drive, Solomon needed to walk with his friend’s dad. Solomon walked with the dad. On the way home, they walked another little girl home who had also slept over. Solomon was so proud that he had been part of this mitzvah.
