As I was getting ready to leave the doctor’s office, my doctor, who has also become a friend, was called to the hospital for an emergency c-section. Within minutes, she was into her scrubs and running out the door to help her patient. At that moment, it dawned on me how many mitzvah jobs there really are. Now I see what you were talking about. Very nice! Thanks! In fact the delivery was very fast. It is convenient to be a runner, there have been a couple times that that fitness has come in handy. Times like that, those whirlwind emergency deliveries are so sureal. One minute someone is in laber, the next minute the baby is out and on its own!
