928) At Starbucks today, I complimented one of the employees on her cool stockings. She preceded to tell me where I could get my own pair locally as well at their on line website. We should all share local shops we know and love and help support them in these economic times. I do it all the time and love when others do too.
929) Held the door at the doctors office for not one, not two but three parties leaving the building. The third party jokingly asked me if I took tips. Nope not for a mitzvah.
As I was getting ready to leave the doctor’s office, my doctor, who has also become a friend, was called to the hospital for an emergency c-section. Within minutes, she was into her scrubs and running out the door to help her patient. At that moment, it dawned on me how many mitzvah jobs there really are. Anyone whose work involves critical care of human life is performing daily mitzvahs. It made me grateful for all of the mitzvah heroes in the world.
Hi Linda!
Now I see what you were talking about. Very nice! Thanks! In fact the delivery was very fast. It is convenient to be a runner, there have been a couple times that that fitness has come in handy. Times like that, those whirlwind emergency deliveries are so sureal. One minute someone is in laber, the next minute the baby is out and on its own!
phew!!!
