REBOOT and Sabbath Manifesto

Think your life is on constant overload? So much to do and never enough hours to do it, always connected to technology and feeling out of balance?

Well, you are in luck because there are others in the world who have thought about this too and invite you to join them this week for the second annual National Day of Unplugging sponsored by Reboot. Reboot is a nonprofit organization founded in 2003 whose goal is “to develop the mechanisms and media that allow anyone anywhere to “reboot” among themselves and their peers.” Check out their website and learn about the Sabbath Manifesto that begins this week from Sundown, Friday, March 4 to Sundown, Saturday, March 5, 2011.

Haven’t heard about the Sabbath Manifesto yet? Well, you still have a few days to read up on it and join the fun.

Here are the 10 core principles to help you enjoy a slower day of the week. Please note: they recommend these only as guidelines, do whatever works for you.
